Executive Summary

Deliverable 10.1 (“Dissemination & Communication Strategy”) provides a comprehensive roadmap of all planned dissemination and communication activities to be carried out by the PopEye consortium throughout the project’s lifecycle. Furthermore, Deliverable 10.1 offers a clear overview of the ecosystem and the channels available for partners to engage in information exchange with external audiences, ensuring high-level communication and outputs.

After introducing the project’s objectives, this document details PopEye’s key stakeholders, which include citizens and travellers, Border Authorities and Law Enforcement Authorities, European Union agencies, the research and development community, technology providers, integrators, and commercial entities, and standardisation bodies. In addition, Section 4 provides tailored messaging for each stakeholder group, along with relevant Horizon Europe projects for exploring synergies. The following section then describes the project’s dissemination and communication architecture, which is structured around four key pillars: stakeholder engagement, market analysis, policy recommendations, and standardisation activities. Section 5 also details essential principles and guidelines that all dissemination and communication activities should adhere to. This includes fundamental rules governing all communication efforts, brand guidelines, the use of templates, and other related protocols. Lastly, Section 6 presents a roadmap for the project’s outreach strategy, organised into phases that span its entire lifecycle, alongside the communication channels to be utilized for promoting the project by the entire consortium and, most importantly, the key performance indicators that will be used to assess the effectiveness of these activities.
